This notification relates to a Decision to prosecute before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. The Tribunal has certified that there is a case to answer in respect of allegations which are or include that Mr Dobson:-
- Between 28 February 2020 and September 2021, failed to act in the best interests of his client during a dispute and litigation matter and/or in failing to be open with his client about failing to comply with Court directions.
- Between 19 March 2021 and September 2021, he produced (or caused the production of) file notes and correspondence which gave the misleading impression that he was not aware of the reasons why his client’s defence had been struck out.
The allegations are subject to a Hearing before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and are as yet unproven.
